Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Annexity is a product of Season One LLC. Your study data stays on your device.
Season One LLC · Effective 28 August 2026
1. Who we are
Season One LLC is a Washington limited liability company ("Annexity," "we," "us," or "our"). Season One LLC owns and operates annexity.com and publishes Annexity (the "App"), an offline study resource for physician assistant students. The App is a product of Season One LLC; it is not published by, licensed from, or operated on behalf of any other company, school, or certifying body.
This document is both our privacy policy and our terms of use, and it covers the website and the App together. By using either, you agree to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the App.
2. Information we collect
Through this website. Only what you choose to submit: your email address if you request beta access or launch updates, and your name, email, and message if you write to us.
In the App. If you create an account, your email address and display name are held by our authentication provider, Supabase, which processes them on our behalf; your password is never stored in readable form by us or by them, and a session token is kept in your device's Keychain so that you stay signed in. You may optionally add your PA program, expected graduation date, current rotation, exam target date, and self-identified military or veteran status. Your practice sets, answers, scores, bookmarks, notes, and settings are recorded on your device as you study.
Submissions. If you send us a suggested correction to a question or a piece of study content, we receive the text of that submission and, only if you provide it, your email address.
Usage. The App records that a device was used to study on a given day, and sends us one record for that day. Each record contains a randomly generated identifier and the date, and nothing else. We use it for a single measurement: how many students come back, and how often. It tells us that studying happened, never what you studied, how you answered, or how you scored.
The identifier is created on your device the first time the App runs and is stored only in the App. It is not your Apple ID, not your device's advertising identifier, and not any identifier Apple or another app can read. It is never linked to your email address, your account, or anything you submit, and it does not survive deleting and reinstalling the App: a reinstall produces a new identifier and we have no way to connect the two.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health records, government identifiers, or payment information. The App contains no advertising and no advertising or analytics software from other companies, and it does not track you across other applications or websites. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or share anything with data brokers, and we do not request or store employment or job-placement preferences.
The daily usage record described in section 2 is the only thing the App reports to us on its own. Everything else leaves your device only because you chose to send it.
4. How information is stored and used
Study data is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced through your own iCloud account so it is available on your other Apple devices. It is stored under your Apple ID, not on Annexity's servers. We cannot see your answers, your scores, your notes, or which topics you study. That information exists only to operate the App: to record your progress, build practice sets, and decide what to show you next.
The one exception is the daily usage record in section 2, which tells us that a device studied on a date. We use it to understand whether the App is worth coming back to, and to decide what to build next. It is aggregated across everyone using the App and is not read as a record of any one person.
Information you submit through this website is used to reply to you and, if you asked for it, to email you about the App's release and related updates. We do not use your information for advertising or for automated decision-making.
6. Retention and deletion
Data stored in the App persists until you delete it. Settings → Your data → Delete all study data permanently erases your progress, answers, notes and saved items from that device and from your iCloud storage, so they are removed from your other devices as those sync. If you have an account, deleting it does the same and removes the account as well. Deleting the App removes only the copy on that device; to clear the iCloud copy too, delete your data in the App first.
Every launch-update email includes an unsubscribe link. To request deletion of a content submission, or of information held from a website form, write to us at the address below. We will honor the request unless the submission has already been incorporated into published study content, which we cannot separate out after the fact.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Because the App keeps your data on your own device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in Settings. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within the period applicable law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
8. Children's privacy
The App and this site are intended for physician assistant students and other adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including on-device storage and encrypted transmission of anything you send us. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Terms of Use
License. Season One LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and this site for your own study and information.
Acceptable use. You agree not to copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display App content, and not to reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or this site.
Intellectual property. The App, this site, and their content, including every practice question, explanation, and reference page, are owned by Season One LLC and protected by United States and international intellectual property law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your submissions. By submitting a suggested correction or other content, you confirm the work is your own and grant Season One LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, adapt, and publish it (in original or modified form) as part of the App or the site, with no obligation to use it, credit you, or provide compensation.
Beta software. The App is in beta. It may contain errors, may change substantially, and may become temporarily unavailable. Features described on this site may change or be withdrawn.
Disclaimer of warranties. The App and this site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Season One LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App or this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty United States dollars.
Termination. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. You may stop using the App or this site at any time.
11. Educational use and no clinical reliance
The App is an independent study resource for examination preparation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCCPA® or PAEA®; PANCE® and EOR™ are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to identify the examinations the App prepares you for. Season One LLC makes no guarantee regarding examination results, scores, or pass rates.
Nothing in the App or on this site is medical advice. It must not be used to diagnose or treat any patient or to guide clinical decision-making.
12. Governing law
Season One LLC is organized under the laws of the State of Washington, United States. This policy and these terms are governed by Washington law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and the state and federal courts located in Washington have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and surfaced in the App rather than made silently. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
14. Contact
Questions about this policy, your information, or these terms may be directed to [email protected], or by post to Season One LLC, State of Washington, United States.
How this content is made
Season One LLC uses artificial intelligence as a drafting and research tool in the development of its study content and software. AI assists human work; it does not replace professional judgment.
Automated checks validate drug names against the National Library of Medicine's RxNorm database and confirm that every practice question is answerable from the study content in the App.
The App is a study aid, not a clinical reference, and its content may contain errors. Medicine also changes. Always verify against current clinical guidelines, your program's instruction, and primary sources before relying on anything you read here.
